Niki Owl first started out as a cartoon character on personalised owl cards that Karin made for her friends, family and local community from 1995 onwards. Over time, her explorations into other art forms have led her to creating Niki Owl art as larger scale illustrations, acrylic or pastel paintings and prints using traditional etching techniques.
