Day 8 of 25 Celebrating my 25th Anniversary.

Shortly after Karin started drawing me, she also started to make clay figurines of me. Here are some of the earliest ones. She would usually make these as gifts for friends or family, thinking of something they liked – a scene from their favourite movie or play, favourite things or places to travel… she would let her imagination run wild with the possibilities and then build little scenes like some of the ones you see here. With a little help from her Dad who showed her how to use a jigsaw and even solder metal, she would create these mini worlds.
