Day 4 of 25 Celebrating my 25th Anniversary

Today is Independence Day in America. As a kid growing up in southern Spain, Karin’s earliest memories of the USA were the greeting cards her grandmother would send for birthdays and holidays. She always loved receiving these cards, because they gave her a glimpse of other people’s art and creativity. And it felt really good to receive these cards, because of the thought that went into choosing them and sending them. Little did Karin know that a few years later she would start making her own greeting cards, as a means to express her personal creativity. And it was this that started to help her develop her personal freedom and independence.
Creativity gives us a safe space to explore who we are as individuals and how we can contribute to our communities. Although you don’t have to be the best artist to be creative, because the essence of creativity is to use your skills and talents to make anything and help anyone.
Let’s celebrate everyone’s independence, and together work towards everyone’s personal freedom.
