Day 1 of 25 Celebrating my 25th Anniversary

Because July is my official birth month, between July 1 and 25 we’ll be posting facts, anecdotes and other fun things about my birth and evolution over the last 25 years.

Today marks 2 special things: Niki Owl’s birthday month, and Canada Day.
1. Niki was born in the summer of 1995, product of a creative desire and a personal need during my adolescence. Since then he’s been my faithful little companion throughout my life’s journey.
2. Canada has a special place in my heart and in Niki’s because it became our home for some time and we’re both very grateful for the friends we made and the experiences we shared there. It’s also the place where the first Niki Owl novel takes place.
From today onward and during the next 25 days, we’re going to celebrate Niki’s 25th anniversary year. We’ll be posting photos from the archives of Niki’s first drawings and creations. Niki’s birthday is July 6, so stay tuned for that day – we’ll have some surprises for you!
In the meantime, thank you to everyone who has somehow participated and continues to participate in the inspiration, creation and expansion of Niki Owl.
